Who is the guy that bought 2 Pizzas in 2010 for 10.000 BTC ?!

On May 17, 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz (laszlo) posted a request to buy pizza with bitcoin. It was on May 22 that he reported successfully trading 10,000 BTC for two pizzas.
Ten thousand coins were then worth about $40 (£30). A British user agreed to buy the pizza for him, and even at the time the buyer got a good deal out of it: The person paid only $25 (£19) for the two pizzas.

To commemorate the transaction, May 22 is dubbed Bitcoin Pizza Day. Pizza providers worldwide offer discounts to bitcoin users to commemorate laszlo’s purchase.

The digital currency has come a long way since 2010, when the purchase of the two Papa John’s pizzas by Laszlo Hanyecz from another bitcoin enthusiast marked what is believed to be the first “real-world” bitcoin transaction.

Today, the price of a single bitcoin has hit around $15.600 — making 10,000 of them worth a staggering $156 million.
